The journey to adopt a new, environmentally friendly lifestyle starts from the 2nd EPAL Komotini. A holistic programme that aims to cultivate students' empowerment towards environmental issues.
In the context of this program, we come to support the energy upgrade and power generation from PV Station of the Municipality of Komotini, focusing on the need for public and private entities to take measures to protect the environment, the production and use of energy from renewable sources, the reduction of CO2 emissions and the adoption of best green practices in the daily operation of schools, households and businesses.
Through experiential activities, it invites students to become agents of change themselves. The programme includes actions that touch all aspects of children's everyday life, both at school and at home, and in their city.
Our goal is to create a new generation of citizens, informed and sensitized, ready to take an active role and develop actions for the protection of the environment, in close cooperation with local authorities.
