This construction was created by the Standard EPAL of Kryas Vrysi in the context of the actions of the Circular Economy.
Through a simple attendance of a workshop of the municipality of Pella about the circular economy and clothes, the students thought to recycle clothes and make something
creative like paintings.
They asked the municipality to provide them with clothes from those it collects for
recycling but at the same time the students themselves brought clothes to school that they did not need.
The inspiration for the creation of the collage came from the childhood drawings that everyone used to do when
they were young.
The materials used were cardboard from a box that had been used in another activity before and natural fabrics from recycled clothes.
The initial thought was to create a landscape, followed by the addition of the house.
With a black marker they drew the lake, the house and the alley. During the construction, feelings of joy and nostalgia surfaced for the children's drawings they made when they were younger, but at the same time, satisfaction with the result. It was interesting that a painting was created without paints but from recycled clothes on a simple canvas.
The students' work was presented at the Municipality's Sports and Environment Festival
Pella and attracted the interest of the people. Now it decorates the library of
their school.
