Today, 15 October, the opening of the multimedia mobile exhibition entitled "ZeroWaste: Creating a Sustainable Future through Art", at the Prefecture of Alexandroupolis.
The exhibition is implemented by Synapseis AMKE, in collaboration with Eco Active Komotini and the Regional Directorate of Education of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, is under the auspices of the Regional Unit of Evros and EPOFE, with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and the sponsorship of Sunlight Group.
In the context of the opening, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from the 1st PEPAL Alexandroupolis, who actively participated in experiential activities, getting to know the ideas and messages of the exhibition. This school also participated in the ZeroWaste Hackers competition, which made the experience even more special, as they had the opportunity to see all the projects again, including their school's work, integrated in a new inspiring exhibition environment.
In total, 51 projects of students from all over Greece are presented, which were created in the framework of the national competition ZeroWaste Hackers. The works are categorized in three thematic sections: recycling, circular economy and sustainability, highlighting the power of art, student creativity and its role in raising awareness for a greener future.
The event was honored with the presence of the Deputy Mayor of Culture, Volunteerism, Lifelong Learning and Youth, Mrs. Evanthia Valasidou, which was a great pleasure and honor for all of us.
Special thanks to EPOFE, for its continuous support throughout the entire duration of the event and for its contribution to the setting up of the exhibition.
