In the context of the multi-thematic week "Environmental Awareness Week - Become a Zerowaster", 40 students of the 2nd EPAL Komotini are going to visit the factory of COCO-MAT at Xanthi, on 4 April 2025.
The visit is part of the actions of the programme ZeroWaste Hackers and aims to enhance students' environmental awareness by introducing them to businesses that apply sustainable and ecological production practices.
The students will have the opportunity to get to know the philosophy of COCO-MAT, a company that is an example green entrepreneurship, as it uses natural materials and follows circular economy principles. At the same time, they will come into contact with modern professional outlets that combine innovation with respect for the environment.
Education linked to the practice and experience, is the most powerful tool to shape a new generation of aware and active citizens.
