Green Jobs: The Future of Sustainable Development

The 2o EPAL Komotini and the zEROwASTER's project team are organizing a unique event dedicated to "Green Professions and the Future", the Friday 29 November 2024, at 10:00, in the school's auditorium.
The event aims to inform students and parents about career opportunities in the fast-growing green economy sector, preparing them to take a leading role in environmental protection and sustainable development.
The speaker of the lecture will be Mr. Panagiotis Pappas, Career Advisor, who will present career prospects in areas such as renewable energy, energy upgrading, sustainable agriculture, and green technologies.
The journey for a sustainable lifestyle starts from the 2nd EPAL Komotini!
This initiative is part of a wider holistic programme that aims to cultivate environmental awareness and empower students as agents of change. Through experiential actions, students are invited to adopt best practices for environmental protection at school, at home and in their city.
In addition, the action is linked to the work energy upgrading and the installation Photovoltaic Stations of the Municipality of Komotini, emphasizing the use of renewable energy sources and the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions.

The project invites students to take an active role and promote changes that will improve their daily lives while protecting the environment. Our aim is to shape a new generation of informed and aware citizens, who will work closely with local authorities for sustainable development.
